“WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING THE THINGS WE CANNOT CHANGE. WE ARE CHANGING THE THINGS WE CANNOT ACCEPT.”

Dr. Angela Davis

Our Mission

Law Enforcement Equality Reform (LEER) is an advocacy organization; we are dedicated to ending the discriminatory practices in law enforcement and want more transparency in the conduct of law enforcement operations.

LEER is a 501(c) non-profit organization created to bring awareness and solutions to inequality in law enforcement. We are starting a national conversation and debate on the mission of law enforcement in America.  However, education must always come before advocacy. We want to help provide that education.  This movement started on social media with feedback from thousands of people sharing their expertise and concerns about the nature of law enforcement and how to make it better. LEER is focused on law enforcement policy changes at all levels of government.

The U.S. Constitution does not allow for the proper policing of individuals who did not have citizenship when it was created.

Our team is dedicated to looking for solutions; in fact, we want them so bad we are taking matters into our own hands.

Our goal

To start a national grassroots conversation with the people. The Constitution must be amended to address the structural imbalances that are systemic in the Criminal Justice system.

LEER has become disillusioned with Congress as they lack the authority to fix these problems. Article I, section 8 of the U.S. Constitution limits congressional authorization, as police powers are reserved for individual states. We are compelled to bring these needed changes to the national forum. Thus, we are bringing them to you directly, “We the People.”
